Appreciation for Serving the Gujarati Samaj of Montreal
On behalf of Gujarati Samaj of Montreal, I would like to take the opportunity to Congratulate and honor all our previous Presidents and Vice Presidents including all their Executive Committee members for their invaluable and excellent job done for the past 40 years. I want to thank you all for your wisdom and leadership which made it possible to build such a solid foundation. It is this foundation that has made it possible for Gujarati Samaj to Survive for more than 44 years and adapt to meet the priorities of Montreal’s changing and diverse Gujarati community in Montreal. Being a President myself I am also aware of the toll borne on the families for serving a Community and I am thankful to them for their sacrifice and support for this noble cause.
Gujarati Samaj of Montreal are proud to have leaders like you and will always get inspired and recognize all the efforts made to make our Samaj so great. A famous activist once said, “Wisdom is knowing what to do next; virtue is doing it.’ You all proved to be both wise and virtuous.” And we salute you. Many of you have moved on to other lands and got busy with other activities I wish you the best, few have sadly passed away, my sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to families. “Great leaders are never forgotten, they remain in your heart” On behalf of Gujarati Samaj, its members and the executive committee, I want to congratulate you once more for your contribution to the community which will be always remembered and cherished.
